How To Get Started

This section explains how to use LeadWhiz. If you require any assistance at all, please don't hesitate to ask and we'll get back to you ASAP. Remember, we can even do everything for you free of charge.

STEP 1: Firstly click "Get HTML Code" in the top right (or click HERE). This will display your unique membership code that you must insert into your web site. This is a short code that will generate the advertisements of other members on your site, and track credits and visitor you're entitled to receive. Full instructions are provided, although we can install the code for you free of charge (Ask us to Install the Code for You FREE).

STEP 2: Now you must create an advertisement. LeadWhiz is ONLY as good as your ads, so we suggest using our Advertisement Checklist to ensure your ads are effective. We can create ads for you free of charge, or you can do them yourself. Detailed instructions are provided near the bottom of this page under the heading of "Your Advertisements".

STEP 3: The third and final step is to configure your My Account Settings. These settings are essential and control everything from targeting your ads to a particular audience, to setting how you want ads displayed on your site. Next to each of the options is an explanation of what the option is about.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

  • For maximum benefits, install the HTML code on the most heavily visited pages of your site. For each new visitor to your site, you'll receive 6 credits (6 views of your ad), plus a free visitor (depending on your "My Account" settings).
  • Each visitor of your site will see LeadWhiz ads no more than twice every hour
  • You must first assign credits to your advertisements for them to be displayed. An option to You have credits automatically assigned to your advertisements is in the "My Account" settings.

LeadWhiz is only as good as your ads! If your ads arent effective, you may generate very few leads. See our Ad Tips section to ensure your ads are effective!

When your ad loads on another member's site, it can appear at the top (image with text), or at the bottom (just text). Overall, your ad consists of 3 main components which are explained below:

Explanation of Ad Components:

1. AD NAME: The bold text of your Bottom Ad (indicated by blue text in image below).

2. IMAGE: This is your 266 x 98 pixel image that appears as part of your Top Ad (indicated by green text in image below).

3. MAIN TEXT: The plain text that appears below your image in your Top Ad, OR immediately after the Ad Name of your Bottom Ad (shown below).

NOTE: Either your Top Ad OR Bottom Ad is displayed at one time - not both at the same time.

To create a new advertisement, click "My Advertisements" from the top menu. In the "My Advertisements" area, click "Create New Adertisement". This will load a page where you can create each component of your ad including the three shown above (Ad Name, Image & Main Text). The other components each have a link next to them to help explain what they are.

When you're complete, click "Create Advertisement" at the bottom to save your ad. You'll then be able to see your ad's settings when you click "My Advertisement" in the top menu.

Important Notes About Your Ad:

1. Either your Top OR Bottom Ad will displayed at one time - never both at the same time. Which type of ad is displayed is selected randomly.

2. The "Main Text" for both the Top & Bottom Ads are the identical.

3. For Your Top Ad: Only your Image and "Main Text" appear as the top ad. The "Ad Name" (bold text) does NOT appear in your Top Ad.

4. For Your Bottom Ad: Only your "Ad Name" (bold text) and "Main Text" appear as the bottom ad. Your image does NOT appear in your Bottom Ad.

5. Your ads will randomly rotate between a Top and Bottom Ad. If you don't insert an Image, ONLY your bottom ad will be displayed.
